What does it actually mean to win… not just in November, but after?
Fighting back against Trump and holding this administration accountable when we regain the majority is non-negotiable.
But simply being anti-Trump is not a real platform — and it’s definitely not enough to win an election.
We need to be clear about what we want, not just what we don’t. It’s on Democratic leaders to think creatively about the issues we’re facing, come up with solutions and draft the legislation, and work to get true buy-in from our colleagues, constituents, and advocates. We can do this work now so that we’ll be ready to hit the ground running as soon as we regain the majority in November.
That's what I've been working toward. Every bill I've introduced this cycle — on AI, child care, fertility access, data privacy, protecting workers, and more — is part of seeding the ground now so we're ready to jump into action in January. I want Democrats to govern and govern well.
I want us to prove to the American people that we have real solutions to their problems, and the political will, courage, and strategy to deliver them.
I'm genuinely excited about what's possible if we win. And I believe we will get to do all of it, if we continue to work together towards our shared goals. I’m truly grateful for this team’s feedback, energy, and partnership — it’s all critical to fighting back today and building a stronger tomorrow.
