‌ Hi Herbert, it’s Rep. Johnny Olszewski. Apologies for the Monday night message, but I wanted to get in contact before midnight.

Truthfully, I don’t like to talk about fundraising deadlines. I want you to chip in because you believe the same thing I believe:

That government works best when it’s open to the people.

But good ideas alone don’t win elections. Not when you’re running against the GOP’s deep, deep roster of right-wing megadonors.

And here’s the thing: When the calendar flips to September, the clock is on for our final FEC End-of-Quarter report before Election Day.

And honestly? I think we can have our biggest showing of the year so far. But only if we act as early as possible so we aren’t playing catch-up later on.

So here’s the ask: If you can give $25 before midnight, that would be amazing. If you can give more, that’s amazing. If you can only give a few bucks, that’s amazing too. All that matters is that lots and lots of folks chip in to show Republicans just how ready we are for this final sprint to Election Day.
