Friend, I won't keep you long. Tonight is the end of the month, and we're behind on our $100,000 August goal.

That's alright — you know me well enough to know I'm not going to tell you the sky is falling. It isn't. And we won’t all perish if we don’t hit this goal. But I would like to catch up, and here's the honest reason why:

For the first time, this race is getting real national attention. A new poll from Impact Research has us tied with Mike Rounds, 44% to 44%, and the question every reporter and donor is asking is whether it's for real. I'd like our end-of-month number to answer them by showing that a tied race in South Dakota is being powered by regular people, not corporate checks.
