The special session is focused on criminal justice and policing, responding to the coronavirus pandemic, and updating the Commonwealth’s budget. Both chambers have been advancing bills through committees, and are beginning to pass bills through their houses of origin. It is not clear at this point how long the session will continue. The Chamber is monitoring and engaging on a number of bills with business impacts.
