Dear Mr. xxxxxx,

Concerning Allegations Regarding Islamic Development Near Camp Bullis Military Base

Camp Bullis, a vital U.S. military training base in San Antonio, is facing a concerning problem with the news of a planned Islamic property development. In response, I called upon Attorney General Todd Blanche, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent to take action, voicing serious concerns that the Islamic property development next to a U.S. military base is potentially dangerous to our national security. Specifically, I urged the cabinet officials to “examine whether any criminal, civil, financial, or immigration statutes have been violated in its effort to fulfill its campus expansion project.” Complete with Sharia law-compliant facilities, a mosque, and gender segregated facilities, this project flies in the face of traditional Texas values. Furthermore, the organization sponsoring the development, Northside Islamic Center of San Antonio (NICSA), has in the past partnered with the Muslim Brotherhood and solicited donations from foreign terrorist designated entities, while their Imam, AbdulRahman Kattan, has publicly celebrated terrorist attacks, including October 7th, and praises Iran. I urge the cabinet officials to undertake a full investigation to ensure any developments near our military bases do not pose a threat to our national security or undermine western civilization.

Rep. Roy on the Islamic Development Near Camp Bullis: “Given NICSA’s ties to nefarious groups, questionable funding sources, and faith leaders espousing violent and terroristic rhetoric to their mosque raises concerns about possible encouragement of violence in sermons, I respectfully request your respective agency's assistance in reviewing NICSA’s efforts to establish a community center near Camp Bullis, and to carefully examine whether any criminal, civil, financial, or immigration statutes have been violated in its effort to fulfill its campus expansion project.”

Joined Fox Business to Discuss Competition with China on Technologies and the Appropriate Guardrails to Place on AI and Data Centers

Rep. Roy on Fox Business: “I think we need to have a serious conversation in Washington among national leaders, about what the guardrails are going to be when we talk about Artificial Intelligence. We can do what we need to do to beat China. We can do what we need to do to have tech. But we also need to remember that freedom matters, family matters, community matters...

[On Data Centers] They're importing people with H-1Bs. They're using all of this to try to get people to say, 'Hey, this is the future. You got to do it because of China.' Is that the kind of culture/society that we want? Or do people want to get back to talking to each other, going to church, having communication, having community, seeing their family?”

Discussed the Need to Codify President Trump’s Successful Border Policies on the Jesse Kelly Show

Rep. Roy on the Jesse Kelly Show: “I think the President's great strength is leadership, and I think we ought to be leading in Congress alongside him. I think we start by codifying what has been working on the border. Congress has not codified anything. We haven't changed any of the rules on parole, asylum, catch and release that Biden abused...”

Joined Newsmax to Discuss the Evils of Socialism and the Honor of Hard Work

Rep. Roy on Newsmax: “I think there's a whole generation of the American people who want to recognize America again. They want to have a family. They want to have a job. They want to have the dignity of work. If we speak in those terms, while we protect capitalism and free enterprise, then we will win that next generation. That's what we need to do.”
