I’ve got a meeting with Tish in a couple hours to walk her through our fundraising numbers, and I have to be honest with you: I wish I had better news to deliver.
We’ve still got a lot of ground to cover on our $200,000 end-of-month fundraising goal — and our deadline hits at midnight tonight.
Here’s the thing about Tish: she doesn’t spend much time thinking about the bad actors throwing attacks at her, her Republican opponent in this race, or the powerful special interests trying to slow her down.
She’s too busy going after the powerful people and corporations who think they can buy their way out of accountability, and standing up for New Yorkers who need someone in their corner.
But she can’t do that work alone. It takes resources to keep our work moving forward and make sure we’re ready for the tough fights ahead as we enter the last 64 days of this race.
