Is Public Citizen still filing lawsuits against the Trump Regime?

Damn right we are!

And we have a brand new lawsuit to tell you about today:

As you know, this summer marked The United States of America’s 250th anniversary as a nation.
Donald Trump and others in his administration saw our country’s 250th birthday as just another excuse to sell America out to corporate interests. (Is there anything they won’t try to corrupt?)
The Trump gang created a shadowy company — Freedom 250 LLC — that billionaires and corporations looking to curry favor with the regime could pour money into without disclosing where the funds came from or what the money was spent on.
Meanwhile, the regime doled out over one hundred million dollars in contracts — supposedly for things related to the 250th anniversary — to businesses run by MAGA supporters and even members of the Trump administration itself.
Public Citizen launched an investigation under the Freedom of Information Act, seeking documents about the administration’s agreement with Freedom 250 LLC.
The statutory deadline for the administration to respond has come and gone.
On August 20, we filed suit in federal court. Our lawsuit asks the court to order the administration to produce the documents we requested so that the American people can see exactly what has been going on with this shady Freedom 250 LLC thing.

Public Citizen has filed 50 lawsuits (so far) against the administration since Trump returned to power. While the justice system can move slowly, in many cases we have already kept the regime from doing maximum damage. And we have no intention of giving up the fight as our cases make their way through the courts and as we file new lawsuits.
