On Tuesday, May 12th, the NH Coalition to End Homelessness will host a full day training on increasing awareness of professional boundaries in the workplace.

Participants will be provided with the opportunity to examine their use of reflective practice skills to maximize desired outcomes in their work with clients. In addition, best practices to assure healthy boundaries and to prevent boundary crossings and boundary violations will be presented. Professionals working in a range of fields are encouraged to attend including social work, healthcare, education, and addiction services.

What: Increasing Awareness of Professional Boundaries Training

When: Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Registration Deadline: Monday, May 11, 2020

Event Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: 161 South Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03103

Cost: $99 per person. Lunch is not included, but time will be given to get lunch on your own.

CEUs: This training is expected to be approved for six National Association of Social Workers Ethics CEUs, and six Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor CEUs.

Trainer: Scott Meyer, MSW, Ph.D. is a professor of social work at Plymouth State University. Dr. Meyer previously served on the faculty at the Boston University School of Medicine as a clinical instructor of psychiatry and has also taught at Curry College in Massachusetts and at Roger Williams College in Rhode Island.
