As utility bills surge, power outages become more prevalent and the problems of being dependent on dirty energy sources become more apparent, millions of Americans are thinking about adding rooftop solar and energy storage to their homes.

These technologies bring big benefits, but are too often hampered by needless bureaucracy. This webinar can help you understand what action states can take to speed up permitting for residential rooftop solar and storage and bring the benefits of solar power to more Americans.

RSVP for the September 15 briefing.

Environment America Research & Policy Center recently graded all 50 states on their progress to remove obstacles to rooftop solar and home batteries.[1] Permitting and inspection requirements impose costs and delays on families that wish to install solar panels and batteries. On the webinar you can learn how each state fared in the analysis and familiarize yourself with the commonsense practices each state should adopt to make it easier to go solar.

We've also invited the following speakers to share their insights:

* Elizabeth Babcock, the Executive Director of Denver's Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency to share how Denver benefited when it adopted instant permitting for residential solar systems.
* Texas solar installers who can share stories of what it took to get a permit before and after reforms were made.
* Lawmakers from Virginia and New Jersey who have successfully championed reforms will share their experiences and offer advice, and answer your questions.

RSVP for the webinar today.

I hope to see you there,
