John, The Democratic Socialists Party wants to take over South Carolina. People are moving to South Carolina in droves to get AWAY from the blue state policies of the Democratic Socialists. We cannot – and must not – allow Democratic Socialists to gain a foothold in a conservative state like South Carolina. We had a great victory, but it is not the finish line. In fact, it is the starting line for an even bigger fight that lies ahead. Liberals believe that if they could defeat conservatives in South Carolina, then they can defeat us anywhere. No person in South Carolina has pushed harder for the absolutely terrible idea of turning confused little boys into little girls and vice versa than Annie Andrews. Gun control. Government-run health care. Abortion until the moment of birth. Bad idea after bad idea. Annie Andrews backs THEM ALL. I have a different background and vision for our state. I am a hard worker with a servant's heart. I grew up in the back of a bar and liquor store, in one room in Central. For the past 30 years, I've worked hard for the people of South Carolina, and for the past seven years, I've led a state agency. And I understand the struggles facing South Carolina families because I have faced them too. As your senator, I will continue to work to grow our economy and put South Carolina families first. But I cannot do it without your help.
