Friend,

Students are heading back into classrooms this year under the weight of multiple threats.

ICE is showing up closer to school doors than ever before; public education systems are facing growing pressure to privatize; and the fight to remove police from school campuses continues in communities across the country.

These are not separate isolated stories. They are connected, and they land hardest on Black and brown students and families. Education has never been race blind, and this school year is no exception.

The stakes are high, but communities aren't backing down. From mass walkouts to safe passage programs and community defense, people are organized and fighting back to make safe and welcoming schools a reality for all students.

We’re demanding school districts nationwide prioritize student safety and reject harmful policies that put students on the school-to-prison-to-deportation pipeline.

We have the resources you need to get organized and defend every child’s right to learn →

We're building power to transform our public schools into a system of liberatory education that offers every young person an abundance of resources and care.

Will you join us?

In solidarity,
