Citizens' Climate Lobby
Join us this Saturday at CCL Virtual Eco-Org-Palooza!

Just a few days left before our virtual community event with other climate organizations --
this Saturday from 4:00-5:30 pm!

Come see the many ways you can get involved -- from being part of Green Muslims and business outreach to creating Victory Gardens and being part of Youth Climate Action teams!

To register for this free event, please go to our Eventbrite page. We also have a Facebook event page you can RSVP to and easily share with your friends and family.

We have great 2-3 minute videos to share with you about nine different organizations, followed by breakouts with those organizations on how you can get involved! Start thinking about which breakout you might want to join:

1. Youth Climate Action Team DMV: An Interactive discussion between Executive team members of the DMV Youth Climate Action Team and attendees to give insights on how to make a difference in your own community in regards to climate change.

2. Citizens Climate Lobby: Participate in our democracy: Call your representatives! Come and learn how simple and empowering this is.

3. Business Climate Leaders: Business Climate Leaders will manage a discussion on why businesses are key allies in driving to carbon fee and dividend. We will discuss how you can be successful in getting businesses to endorse EICDA and what resources are available to you.

4. Green Muslims: Faith in Nature: How Green Muslims works to build environmental awareness through spiritual connection. Join us to share about your connections with nature and faith.

5. Community Ecology Institute: Creating Climate Victory Gardens and Other Land-Based Climate Actions

7. Audubon Society of Central MD: Intro to Birding Apps: Our interactive workshop will show participants how to use the Audubon Bird Guide and eBird apps. We'll practice making a checklist, using the built-in field guide, and setting life list alerts.

8. Environmental Voters Project: Getting environmentalists to the polls: Less than 8 weeks until election day! Join to learn more about EVP and how you can get involved.
