According to the latest poll conducted by Monmouth University, Trump Republican incumbent Joni Ernst has pulled back ahead of her Democratic challenger Theresa Greenfield in the Iowa U.S. Senate race – by 1 point (48-47)!
This could be a disaster in the making. We need to flip this seat to flip control of the U.S. Senate away from Mitch McConnell’s DISASTROUS Republican majority.
And we have an amazing chance to strike RIGHT NOW:
Ernst is facing backlash this week after trying to cast doubt on the COVID-19 death toll … right as Iowa has emerged as the state with the fastest growing rate of infections in the country!
At a campaign stop in Iowa, Ernst told the crowd she was “so skeptical” of the reported number of deaths, suggesting support for the bogus conspiracy theory that deaths are being overcounted, even though medical professionals say the exact opposite: that the death toll is likely higher than the official reports.
She’s recklessly attacking science and facts – just like Trump does – and the impact could be deadly if enough people believe her.
Ernst’s devotion to Trump knows no end. She delivered a lie-filled speech to the Republican National Convention that offered gushing praise of Donald Trump and attacks against Joe Biden that fact checkers say have no basis in reality.
She was the ONLY Republican U.S. senator in a tight reelection race who spoke at the convention.
The Iowa Senate race is a dead heat … firmly within the margin of error, with the Cook Political Report rating the race a true “toss up.”
The race will likely be won or lost by just a few percentage points and YOU can make the difference!
