I have a quick chemistry lesson for you. Then I'll get out of your hair.

In chemistry, there's a concept called activation energy. It’s the minimum amount of energy a reaction needs before it can proceed on its own. Below that threshold? Nothing moves. Nothing changes. Hit it? The reaction takes care of itself.

We have one day to reach our activation energy moment.

My August deadline closes at midnight tomorrow night, and the money we raise goes straight into the field. Organizers in September, mail in October, an answer to the next attack ad. It's all in service of a number that's within reach: Democrats need a net gain of just three seats to take back the House. Districts like mine are where that majority gets built or lost.

I believe we're right at the threshold.

We've built something real this month. Now I need one final push to get us over it.

We’re less than 48 hours from my end of month fundraising deadline. Will you chip in $25 before midnight tonight?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Let's start the reaction.
