---Original Message from Dick Durbin---

John,

When the Senate comes back to D.C. this week, we must make funding the U.S. Postal Service -- and reversing Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s harmful changes -- one of our top priorities.

We know how important USPS is -- people in Illinois and across the country receive paychecks, essential medications, and other important correspondence through the mail. And this year, with more people expected to vote by mail than ever, millions of Americans are counting on USPS to help them cast their ballots and make their voices heard in the fight for the future of our country.

The Trump Administration’s sabotage at USPS is unacceptable, John. I’m working to ensure that we’re supporting USPS. Add your name now if you’re with me.

Why are the Postmaster General and the Trump Administration working overtime to undermine the post office and delay mail deliveries with only weeks left before the November election? It’s clear they believe that the fewer votes that are counted, the better the outcome for the GOP.

These attempts at voter suppression are deeply troubling. That’s why we must demand that the Postmaster General immediately reverse his unnecessary and harmful actions at USPS -- from the firing of employees to the removal of mailboxes and sorting machines across the country.

John, I I need you with me in this fight. Sign on now to demand that the Senate holds the Trump Administration accountable and protects the U.S. Postal Service.

My best,

Dick Durbin
