Friend,

Now, more than ever, it is clear that the public employees who keep this city running have always been essential. I am deeply proud to accept the endorsement of DC37 and the hundreds of thousands of public employees they represent. Workers’ rights are vital to the future and functioning of our city, and I look forward to continuing to work with DC 37 to protect and uplift our public employees.

It is my honor to stand with the unions and organized labor who make New York work. Labor Day is more than a long weekend. It’s time for us all to reflect on the workers who do so much for our communities & cities — in the past, present, & future. When workers’ rights are strong, our communities are strong.
