Dear Friends,

Thanks to your commitment, help and generosity, we were successful in last week’s primary election! Now it’s on to the general election, and I’ll need your help more than ever.

I would like to thank Marshall Stair, Fletcher Burkhardt, Calvin Skinner and Michael Andrews for the time and energy they have spent as candidates to make Knoxville a better place to live. I look forward to seeing my general election opponent, Eddie Mannis, on the campaign trail over the coming weeks. While we have differing visions for Knoxville’s future, Mr. Mannis ran a good primary campaign and will be a formidable opponent in the upcoming election.

Since I joined the race for Mayor in November 2018, I’ve been overwhelmed by the number of volunteers who have joined our campaign. Our volunteers have knocked on doors, written countless postcards, organized events, made phone calls, placed yard signs in their yard and made generous contributions to our campaign. They also provided inspiration and made me want to work even harder to spread our message across the City! You made our primary election success happen!
