Minimum wage. The 40-hour work week. Paid sick leave. Social Security. These advancements were fought for and secured on the backs of workers and organized labor who often sacrificed it all to stand up for their rights.

Labor unions have been fighting against corruption and greed for over a century. Their advocacy — and their victories — have built the middle class into what it is today.

Every person, no matter who they are, deserves dignity and a voice on the job. But there are still countless politicians who would rather silence working people and attack our unions.

I believe in unions and the right to collectively bargain, John xxxxxx. And I will continue to stand in solidarity with labor unions today and every day as they help us build a better America — one that works For The People.

Today, let's remember who we're fighting for and why we're fighting. And this November, let's finish the job.
