Donald Trump is now pressuring the National Park Service to carve a quarter-mile strip out of Yosemite National Park and turn it over to a private developer.
The proposal will allow the developer to build a private road connecting its 80-some acre property directly to one of our country’s most treasured national parks - Yosemite!
Previous administrations and the courts completely rejected this idea but according to the new report, Trump’s Interior Department is pushing the Park Service to find a way to make it happen.
No final decision has been made. That means there is still time to fight - but we need to be ready. We have to stop this administration before they give away every inch of our public lands.
