So when my opponent Senator Tillis failed to act after the Russians paid bounties for American soldiers and when he fails to speak out on behalf of our military families as Donald Trump is caught disparaging our wounded and fallen soldiers -- we’ve gotta know that something is deeply wrong in Washington.

I had the honor of serving with these valiant men and women -- friends, parents, sons and daughters -- so protecting our soldiers is personal to me. And it’s long overdue that we come together to send leaders to Washington who feel the same way. We cannot rest until we have elected leaders who respect service members’ courage and sacrifices. So I have an important ask of you:

Senator Tillis cares more about keeping his seat in the Senate than serving the people of my state.
