This is big. Last month, here in Atlanta, a collaborative effort between the
U.S. Marshals Service and state and local law enforcement carried out
“Operation Not Forgotten.”  39 missing children were saved, including 15 who
were the victims of human trafficking.  The operation also led to the arrests
of nine people, some of whom now face sex trafficking charges.

 

 

This is what real heroism looks like.  This story didn’t make much news
because the liberal media is consumed with running stories to falsely claim
that the riots ripping through our cities are “peaceful protests.”  But we know
the truth.  Our law enforcement officers are working every day to keep our
children and our communities safe from the evils of human trafficking.

 

 

Frankly, John, I’m sick of the partisan games played by the media.  These are
our children, and they’re being sold into slaveryright now.

Unfortunately, Atlanta is a hub for Human Trafficking.  That’s why, in
Congress, I worked to stop these predators and was proud to cosponsor
legislation that shut down sex trafficking websites and provided law
enforcement officers with expanded tools to track down and prosecute human
traffickers.
