We've built a strong connection on the ground in South Texas. The polls show us up by as much as 6 points, outside the margin of error. Trump won here by 18 points. That's a 24-point swing inside of 2 years.

It's a credit to the work we're doing.

But the thing is, a lot of people see a 6-point lead in one poll and think I've got it in the bag.

So, let me just come out and say it: polls are wrong all the time. Look at pretty much every election for the past decade.

I want this team to act like we're 6 points behind instead of ahead.
