I’m sitting in the car right now, but I wanted to check in with you quickly before I hit the road for my next campaign stop.
I just got off the phone with my campaign manager, Zach, and he told me our end-of-month fundraising drive was falling behind. Well, actually, his exact words were “August is looking grim.”
John, I know you likely didn’t wake up thinking, “I can’t wait to donate to Sarah Trone Garriott’s campaign!” but I hope you’ll hear me out.
In less than two months, voters will start casting their ballots, and we still have a lot of work to do. Whether we meet this end-of-month goal or not will determine if we have to make difficult budget cuts in the following weeks.
In a race as competitive as this one, we can’t afford to pull back now just because we don’t have the resources to stay competitive.
