For one, in 2024, Donald Trump and the full force of the GOP came after Sherrod with baseless attacks because they knew that defeating him was key to winning the Senate majority. Just like this year.
And at this point two years ago, the momentum was on our side. Sherrod was leading in the polls. Ring a bell?
Here’s where things are different: Polls are running much closer right now than they were this time in 2024. Even worse: Grassroots fundraising is pacing behind at this same point in 2024.
Unlike our Republican opponent, Jon Husted, who is relying on billionaires and special interests to fund his campaign, Sherrod is depending on everyday folks like you to chip in what you can, when you can. He needs your support to turn things around, and he needs it today.
