Listen, most of Trump's attacks on democracy aren't secretive. He and his MAGA-allies are attacking democracy in plain sight. The brazen gerrymandering, for example, is right out there in the open. Republicans are trying to rig the maps, and it’s happening across the country. But one thing that hasn't gotten a lot of attention is the Trump administration's efforts to keep brand-new American citizens from voting. That's right: citizens. For the last year, Trump has prevented new Americans from getting help with voter registration. While a federal judge finally took action to put a stop to this cynical maneuver this month — we know that Trump and MAGA are relentless when it comes to suppressing our votes.
