Today is Labor Day, but of course, this Labor Day looks and feels a lot different than in years past.

It’s been a really tough summer -- especially for frontline workers like health care providers, grocery store clerks, postal carriers, and so many others. That’s why Mikie wanted to reach out to you directly today.

Mikie is more committed than ever to providing working families with the resources and support they need during this difficult time. She’s leading the charge in Congress to ensure we take the necessary steps so we can all safely get back to work, including fighting to:

  • Increase COVID-19 testing and contact tracing
  • Extend unemployment benefits
  • Provide paid sick leave along with food and housing assistance
  • Improve the PPP loan program for small businesses
  • Securing critical funding, resources, and protective gear for hospitals and frontline workers
