(CINCINNATI and SPRINGFIELD, Ohio)— Today, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jim Tressel continued the Heart of Opportunity Tour on the campus of Medpace Inc. in Cincinnati. The statewide tour celebrates Ohio's recognition as CNBC's No. 1 State for Business [ [link removed] ] and features regional conversations highlighting the partnerships, investments, and workforce strategies driving Ohio's continued success.
Panelists included Kimm Lauterbach, President & CEO of REDI Cincinnati; Michele O’Rourke, CEO of O'Rourke Wrecking Company; and Dr. Monica Posey, President of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

Governor DeWine and Lt. Governor Tressel held the ninth and final event of their statewide Heart of Opportunity Tour this afternoon at the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence (NAAMCE) [ [link removed] ] near Springfield. Panelists included J.P. Nauseef, President & CEO of JobsOhio and JP Stewart, Senior Vice President for Product Development at Electra [ [link removed] ].

NAAMCE [ [link removed] ] serves as a hub for companies developing the next generation of aviation. It gives companies a place to test and certify next-generation Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft while connecting them with a combination of resources found only in Ohio – including access to the workforce, research institutions, industry partners, and government supports needed to move these innovative projects forward.
“Ohio has a long and proud history as the birthplace of new aviation technologies, and the work happening at NAAMCE is one example of how we are continuing to build on that legacy – particularly in the Miami Valley,” said Governor DeWine. “The investments we’re making in aviation infrastructure, workforce, research, and innovation are creating an environment that’s allowing companies to build the future of flight right here in Ohio.”
