It’s Labor Day — a time that should be spent relaxing
and having fun with your friends and family.

But for too many people
this year, it’s just another day of worrying how to pay the bills due to
unemployment and under-employment because of the pandemic.

For
others, today is like any other as they strap on a bullet proof vest and
their badge as they leave the safety of their homes to protect our
families. These brave men and women in blue labor every day to ensure
our families and our homes are safe.

these brave local law enforcement officials on this holiday, our
campaign team is spending the day delivering ice cream to police
stations throughout the 14th district.
