Advancing Adolescent Health in the RGV

Healthy Futures of Texas recently convened 85 professionals and community leaders from across the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) at the 2026 South Texas Adolescent Health Summit to address the region's most pressing adolescent health challenges.

30 New Youth Advocates Across Texas

Thirty students from Dallas, San Antonio, and the RGV are beginning their journey as Healthy Futures of Texas [Youth Advocates]([link removed]) for the 2026–2027 school year. Throughout the year, they'll build leadership and advocacy skills while using their voices to create positive change in their schools and communities.

Calling All San Antonio Storytellers

For the first time, Healthy Futures of Texas is bringing its Student Film Contest to San Antonio! High school and college students are invited to create short films inspired by this year's prompt, "How is your life online shaping the relationships you have offline?" and use storytelling to amplify youth voices.
