Well, this is a little embarrassing.

Friend, I wish I could tell you our deadline extension worked like a charm.

It didn't.

We thought this extension would finally put our fundraising troubles behind us.
Instead, the response came in flatter than week-old soda.

My team's been going through the numbers every which way, and their
conclusion is simple:
