Last week, the Trump Administration announced a proposal to roll back Obama-era regulations on methane emissions--the second largest contributor to climate change.

Team, I'm livid. Here's why:

When I was governor, Colorado enacted the first statewide methane regulations in the country, with input from all sorts of people. Our rules became a model for the nation--a huge step forward in the fight against climate change.

Now, Donald Trump's EPA is taking direct action that threatens to undermine climate progress in Colorado and across the country. We need your help to push back. Add your voice to this fight now:

Friend, this proposal by Trump's EPA is so extreme that even the big oil and gas companies it's meant to help think it's a bad idea.

Trump will only get away with this as long as the Republican Senate lets him--and so far, Cory Gardner and Mitch McConnell have left his power unchecked.

It's only getting harder and harder to take--and maintain--the necessary steps to combat climate change. We all breathe the same air, and we must step up as a country to protect it. Unlike Cory Gardner, I've brought people together to take real action against climate change, and I plan to continue to do so in the Senate.

If you believe Donald Trump and his administration need to keep their hands off essential environmental regulations and take climate change seriously, sign our petition now:

We must keep fighting--thank you,
John
