Thanks to your support, Leaders We Deserve has turned this race into a
toss-up.

“Leaders We Deserve, the PAC headed by gun control advocate David Hogg,
has sent at least four mailers on Roath’s behalf in about as many weeks,
dubbing Lynch “MAGA’s favorite Democrat” and Roath as the candidate who
“knows how to fight back — for us.” The PAC has circulated polling showing
Roath within 7 percentage points of Lynch. (In February, Roath’s own
campaign polling showed Lynch with a 26 percentage-point lead.)”

Patrick Roath, who is running for Congress in Massachusetts' 8th District
against Stephen Lynch, has climbed 15 points in the polls, and now this
race is within single digits to defeat a 25-year incumbent and
conservative Democrat.

Congressman Lynch, one of the most conservative Democrats in Washington,
has consistently sold out his constituents. He’s taken $2 million in
corporate PAC money. He's the last Democrat still in office who voted
against the Affordable Care Act.

He voted to create, fund, and thank ICE, and he’s the only Massachusetts
Democrat who joined Republicans to back a bill empowering ICE. He was "Pro
Life and Proud of it" for most of his career. And when a constituent asked
him to do more to fight back against Trump, he yelled: "I get to decide
that. I'm elected. You wanna decide that, you need to run for Congress."

So Patrick did.

Patrick Roath is running to bring a new generation of leadership to
Washington, and he has a clear vision for Massachusetts. Roath actually
understands the importance of putting constituents first and corporate
PACs last...

As a new dad, he's fighting for universal childcare so no parent has to
choose between a paycheck and their child's future. He's fighting for
universal healthcare because your health shouldn't depend on your job.
He's also fighting for affordable housing, immigrant protections, and
reproductive rights.  And he's doing it all without taking a dime of
corporate PAC money, whereas, Stephen Lynch cannot say the same.
