Today, I’m reflecting on all that the American labor movement has accomplished for our working families and how much we still have left to accomplish. I hope you will take a moment to do the same.

 

I have been a union member for more than two decades, and one of my favorite parts of this campaign is getting to know working people from many different trades and professions. I truly value learning about the issues that are most important to you and your coworkers.

 

Working families need a seat at the table. I am proud to stand with brothers and sisters in labor -- and I’m especially grateful to have the support of the United Auto Workers, New York State AFL-CIO, and Service Employees International Union 1199 in my race for NY-01.

 

In Congress, I am committed to the work we must do to strengthen our unions.
