School supplies or groceries. New shoes or the electric bill.
John,
It's back-to-school season, and for too many families across the country, that means hard choices. School supplies or groceries. New shoes or the electric bill.
Meanwhile, Trump has made a choice of his own: starting an illegal war in Iran with no congressional approval and no plan. And it’s working families who are paying for it.
Families are paying higher prices at the store and at the pump while wages stay flat and overtime protections get gutted.
This reality is a direct result of choices made by this administration.
That's why I'm fighting for real solutions:
- The Domestic Workers Bill of Rights, so domestic workers like caregivers or cleaners get the protections they've been denied for generations.
- The Raise the Wage Act, so your paycheck actually covers rent.
- The Job Protection Act and the PTO Act, so nobody has to choose between a sick kid and a paycheck.
- The Restoring Overtime Pay Act, so working extra hours means getting paid for it.
Working families didn't ask for a war in Iran, and they shouldn't have to pay for one at the checkout line. But in order to keep up this fight, I’m counting on your grassroots support.
Will you pitch in $3 today to help me keep growing our progressive movement ahead of the midterm elections?
