Dear John,
I know many of us have recently been reflecting on the things that matter the
most – family, friends and causes close to our hearts.
From the early days in 1971 when I joined the organisation to the present day, CPAG has always been fearless in speaking out on behalf of children in poverty
and their families.
This has particularly been the case in recent months when families across the
country found themselves facing additional financial pressures because of the
pandemic. CPAG’s work supporting families during this time has been crucial –
and greatly helped by a gift left in the will of Daphne Norbury, a CPAG member
for 32 years.
As it is Remember A Charity in Your Will Week,
[[link removed]] I have been reflecting on why Child Poverty Action Group means so much to me.
I feel immense pride at having been associated with CPAG for so long. It is not
just a question of the length of my ties. I am remembering CPAG in my will so I can contribute to the security of the
organisation’s future, so that CPAG is always there to provide a secure future
for children and families in poverty.
By supporting the organisation in this way, I hope my gift will enable CPAG to
concentrate on what it is there to do: end child poverty, once and for all.
Today, child poverty is increasing and deepening. And it is projected to get
even worse. After taking care of your family and friends, even a small amount in
your will can make a huge impact and will help CPAG fight child poverty for generations to come

Thank you for your support.
Best wishes,
