Sorry to bother you during Labor Day weekend, but we had to share this news and ask for your help pushing back. President Trump’s supporters at the Heritage Foundation know he’s losing this election to Joe Biden. Now they’re attacking our state in an attempt to score cheap political points.

The authors of this article are grasping at straws and their argument couldn’t be more out of touch. Here's the Delaware we know:

--We have an entrepreneurial, talented workforce fueled by the University of Delaware, Delaware State University and Delaware Technical Community College. (

--Delaware has a long tradition of innovation, and we consistently rank among the top states in science and technology investment. ([link removed])

--Working families in Delaware pay less in state and local taxes than any state but Alaska. With no sales tax and low property taxes, homeownership is more affordable. (

--We continue to make investments where they matter most - in public education, in health care and good-paying jobs for all working families. (
