We’re not even through the midterms, and yet: We’re about to get hit by the next wave of the redistricting crisis.

Mississippi Republicans just laid the groundwork to redraw their state’s congressional, state legislative, and state supreme court maps for the 2028 elections.

And they’re not alone — GOP lawmakers are eyeing new gerrymanders in Georgia, South Carolina, Kansas, and Indiana.

But at the National Democratic Redistricting PAC, we’re not just sitting on our hands waiting for Republican map manipulators to do their worst.

We’re fighting back to stop new gerrymanders — in fact, we’re also organizing to combat already-passed GOP redraws. Our north star is a national House map that reflects the will of the people. And we’re counting on your support — can you rush a donation of any amount today?

The GOP is already looking ahead to 2028, and the ink is barely dry on the maps they manipulated for this year’s midterms.

First, Donald Trump launched his Republican allies into a shameful, unprecedented frenzy of mid-decade redistricting to try to lock in power. Then the Supreme Court ruling in Callais handed the GOP a tool to lock in power by ripping fair representation away from Black and brown voters.

All in all, Republicans have been able to cheat their way into an unearned advantage for the 2026 elections.

Now we know that even if they STILL lose their U.S. House majority this November, they plan to steal it right back in 2028 through even more redraws.

So we’re racing to elect Democracy Defenders who can prevent new GOP gerrymanders and bad, anti-voter legislation. We’re supporting voter-led countermeasures in states like New York and Maryland. And we’re continuing to mobilize our grassroots movement to ban this kind of map manipulation.
