Indivisibles gathering! Indivisibles,
Indivisible is only as strong as the groups and individual activists we support, and so we’re thrilled to announce that next month, 300 National Campaigns Network (NCN)[1] Indivisibles will be gathering in Virginia for three action-packed days of training and advocacy!
Over the three days, the Indivisibles from NCN groups all over the country will be talking about our two-year (plus!) strategy, and training each other on crucial issues and tactics. Plus, we’ll be doing a major lobby day in DC to put all that training into action.
Our mission is to make this gathering equitable and accessible to brilliant group leaders, including those from far away. We plan to offer thousands of dollars in financial assistance to folks who might not be able to afford to make it otherwise and make it as affordable as possible for everyone, and to ensure Indivisibles have everything we can offer to make attending possible. But we need your help raising funds that can help cover that financial aid, the rest of the gathering, and all of Indivisible’s work:
Can you contribute $10 to help us meet our goal of raising $55,926 this week to help fund scholarships, the NCN Gathering in Virginia and all of Indivisible Project’s crucial work?
What we’ll do together.
At the gathering, we will build a shared vision for the next phase of the Indivisible movement, create new strategies, provide key training to build power at home, and help others learn how to train. Here’s a quick snapshot of a few of the many goals we have for the gathering:
- Discuss, strategize, and build a shared vision for our advocacy in 2020 and beyond, including crucial work on democracy reform and immigration through the 2019 budget process.
- Help NCN leaders gain the necessary skills and knowledge to keep building power back home, and the know-how to train other local group members and activists. (We’ll focus a lot not just on learning skills ourselves, but on practicing training others!)
- Build and deepen relationships among NCN group leaders and Indivisible’s national staff. All of what we do works because we're a united team, and we’ll only be successful when we know and trust each other, nationwide!

What it takes.
We hear a lot that Indivisibles really want to know how their grassroot gift might be put to use. And that makes sense -- everyone wants to know that their money is going to something important. So here’s a snapshot of some of our costs for the August NCN gathering. Just as a reminder -- this isn’t every budget line item, but it gives you a good idea of the kinds of things your gift is crucial to support!

Thank you for investing to help us build the Indivisible movement.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
[1] Not sure what the NCN is? We’ve convened local Indivisible groups committed to federal advocacy and national actions into the National Campaigns Network, a cohort of groups working with organizers to build our strategy and coordinate on critical opportunities. Any group can apply to join the NCN if they feel that work is a priority for their members! Want to contribute to support Indivisible Project and the NCN? Click here!
