In 2018, Kara Eastman lost to Don Bacon by less than 5,000 votes. She came
so close to defeating him and flipping the district blue — more resources,
more contributions could have made the difference.

She decided to run again to represent Nebraska’s 2nd district and won the
primary in May!

Now, we have to be sure Kara has the resources to organize like never
before and win on November 3rd. We’re counting on JD’s across the country
to help Kara win in November. That’s why we’re asking today:

Kara Eastman believes that health care is a human right and will fight for
Medicare for All. She will also be a fierce advocate for the Green New
Deal — because she knows that environmental justice is absolutely
imperative.

Don Bacon is a Trump-supporting Republican who takes every chance he gets
to hurt working-class people in our country. He isn’t working for the
people of Nebraska’s second district. Bacon is in the pocket of corporate
special interests.

Kara will join Justice Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pramila
Jayapal, and Ro Khanna in fighting for progressive policies. But we have
to make sure she has the resources to defeat Don Bacon in November.
