About the speaker: Mike Helms has been with Oxfam since 2008, when he started out as an assistant to the Director of Policy and Research. In 2010, Mike moved fully into Government Affairs, and currently serves as a Senior Advisor in that department. In this role, Mike works with all of Oxfam’s content teams, campaigns, and supports departments to further Oxfam’s advocacy mission. Prior to joining Oxfam, Mike graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007 with a JD, and earned a BA from the University of Florida in 2004.
