Alrighty — do you want the good news or the bad news first?

The good news is that after a slow start to the week (and let’s be honest, month), we’ve seen a strong surge in grassroots support. Kudos all around!

The bad news is that with less than a week to go until we flip the calendar to September, we’re still way off track in terms of our digital fundraising benchmarks.

And with Zach Lahn blanketing the airwaves with $700k worth of lie-filled ads every week and the polls narrowing, these fundraising struggles are threatening to upend the race.

We dug ourselves into a bit of a hole, so now we’ve got to dig ourselves out. 🪏

Alas, more good news! Our upcoming end-of-month fundraising push is the perfect opportunity to A) right the ship, B) flex our grassroots muscles, and C) put the partisan insiders on notice.
