Tell Congress:
"The Trump administration’s failed response to the pandemic has cost nearly 200,000 lives in the U.S. We cannot allow this level of failure ever again. Pass the ‘People's Pandemic Prevention Plan,’ to assist with our current recovery and prevent future outbreaks."

John,
“We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning.” – Donald Trump
With over 188,000 deaths and 6.2 million COVID-19 cases in the U.S.―the most in the world―Trump is right. We are tired.
In late 2019, as the U.S. government learned of the COVID-19 threat, Donald Trump froze. His delay in action allowed the pandemic to take hold in the U.S.―resulting in approximately 1,000 deaths each day.
In order to combat the current crisis and be ready for what comes next, we need Congress to pass a robust Pandemic Prevention Plan. This includes support for our current recovery and actions to prevent future outbreaks.
Our voices together are powerful: Add your voice in calling on Congress to pass the “People's Pandemic Prevention Plan,” which includes plans for testing, contact tracing, affordable medicines and vaccines, and more. Sign the petition to Congress today!
This new proposal would create 300,000 new union jobs to meet the needs of our communities battling the pandemic. It would guarantee affordable medicines and vaccines, and not allow pharmaceutical corporations to create monopolies on drugs created using taxpayer money.
It would require the U.S. to work in collaboration with other world leaders instead of abandoning our responsibility to other citizens of the world. And, it would take action against environmental causes of pandemic diseases such as deforestation and wildlife habitat destruction to prevent diseases leaping from animals to humans.
Tell Congress to act! Sign the petition in support of the “People's Pandemic Prevention Plan” today to support our current recovery and prepare for future threats.
Donald Trump’s failure to act is completely on him and his administration. The Obama administration provided Trump with a roadmap of how to prepare for and respond to pandemics. But, as with anything done during the Obama presidency, Trump threw it in the dumpster fire that represents his entire presidency.
Thank you for taking action today to create a real pandemic response that puts people’s lives first.
