Just 72 58 days until Election Day 2020.
Many of us have waited for this moment with a sense of urgency throughout the Trump presidency and now that the time is upon us, we are facing a global health crisis and an unimaginable attempt by Republicans to suppress votes by undermining the U.S. Postal Service – but time is on our side, and we must begin making our plans to vote NOW.
As Trump and his Republican enablers continue to assail many safe and reliable voting options, like vote by mail, it's causing worry among some voters about whether their ballot will be counted if they choose to mail in their ballots.
The key to avoiding any potential postal delays is to apply for and return your ballot NOW – as soon as your state will allow.
Many states are quickly adapting their voting practices to ensure that eligible voters are able to cast their ballots in a safe, secure, and reliable way. Developments regarding the coronavirus change by the day and Vote.org has also been tracking information on what the latest changes are in your state.
If we are to END the Trump presidency, flip the Senate and elect progressives across the country we cannot afford to waste a single day. Make sure that you have a plan to vote, and that your friends, family, loved ones and neighbors have a plan as well.
Don't wait until it's too late.
