My entire adult life has been about service.

I learned that lesson from my mom, who raised me to understand that leadership isn’t about what you can get for yourself. It’s about what you’re willing to do for others.

That lesson stayed with me when I went to West Point and became an Army Engineer Officer.

In the Army, I learned what leadership really means.

It means being accountable when things go wrong, putting others before yourself, making difficult decisions when there’s no easy answer, and it means earning people’s trust—not demanding it.

I carried those lessons with me into combat, where the stakes were higher, and leadership mattered more than ever.

After the Army, I brought that same sense of responsibility home.

I became a small business owner, a husband, and a father. I built a life in Colorado and continued looking for ways to serve the community that had given me so much.

Now, I’m running for Congress because I believe Colorado’s Third District deserves a representative who understands that public service is exactly that: service to the public.

I’ve spent my life learning how to lead, how to listen, and how to put the mission and the people counting on me ahead of myself.
