Can I ask you for a favor? My friend Larry Krasner, the current District Attorney of Philadelphia, would really appreciate some support right now.

Larry was the first District Attorney candidate we supported at Real Justice, back in 2017. From day one, he put in place revolutionary policies against mass incarceration, police brutality, and racist sentencing and prosecution.

These efforts did not go unnoticed by the forces of white supremacy. Donald Trump called him the “worst District Attorney.” A group of police officers formed a PAC just so they can raise money to defeat him in the upcoming election. They are terrified, and determined to defeat him in his re-election.

Larry needs our support. And he has earned it. Can you chip in to make sure Larry Krasner can continue pushing revolutionary progressive reforms for justice?

You’ve heard me say time after time that electing reform-minded District Attorneys is one of the most effective, powerful ways we can change our justice system. Larry Krasner is proof of this.

After the Real Justice team helped Larry Krasner pull off a grassroots victory in 2017, he immediately became the most progressive, reform-minded District Attorney of any major city in America.

Just last month, Larry reaffirmed his commitment to our movement after he joined forces with other District Attorneys in two other cities to launch The Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation Commission — a nationwide project that creates a process to fight for people who have been wronged by police violence, and overzealous prosecutors by prosecutors, by cycles and systems, and by this country.

Leaders like Larry are the key to bringing real justice to our communities. Electing progressive-minded District Attorneys is how we make sure the police stop getting away with atrocities like we’re seeing in Kenosha.
