In an hour-long webinar, a team of government officials laid out a pitch for organizations: apply for funding that will help you in your mission to house the homeless.
It seems pretty straightforward. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will issue around $4 billion in funding to such organizations, and this year around a quarter of that will be earmarked for new orgs doing good work.
The catch? Those government officials were likely Christian nationalists, and they were speaking specifically to Christian organizations.
