JOhn, the Trump administration must believe we’re stupid.

Take a look at what our new Attorney General Todd Blanche said:

But I’m old enough to remember when Donald Trump posted what looked like a private message demanding his previous AG, Pam Bondi, prosecute his perceived political enemies immediately.

It’s not a matter of if the President will ask Todd Blanche to use the DOJ to go after his enemies, but when. And Blanche’s refusal to say he’ll keep the Justice Department independent from the White House tells us everything we need to know.

In fact, we’ve already witnessed Blanche abusing his power to do Donald Trump’s bidding — when we interviewed officials about the Epstein files, they spent the entire time passing the buck for the administration’s utter mishandling of the situation straight to then-Deputy AG Todd Blanche.

Republicans in Congress, including my colleagues on the Oversight Committee, have made it crystal clear they won’t lift a finger to hold this administration accountable. That’s why it’s so incredibly important for Democrats to take back control of the House in 72 days.

If we want a Congress that actually conducts oversight and cracks down on corruption and abuse of power, we need a Democratic majority — period.

Can you chip in today to help make that happen? Every donation goes straight to holding on to my seat in VA-10 and supporting strong Democrats facing tough races this November. [[link removed]]
