Here at Project HOPE, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up safe, healthy, and supported. Strong families create stronger, healthier communities — and equipping caregivers with the right tools is essential to building a better future.

Recently in Malawi, Project HOPE celebrated an important milestone in protecting vulnerable children.

Working alongside the government of Malawi and local partners, we helped strengthen the country’s national child protection system, giving social workers and caregivers a better way to track, support, and follow up with children who need help. By replacing paper records with a secure digital system, communities can help ensure children don't fall through the cracks.

We’re also helping build the skills of parents, caregivers, social workers, and other frontline workers so they have practical tools to prevent harm, foster positive parenting, and support child development.

Protecting children isn’t only about responding when a crisis occurs. It’s about building strong systems and empowering communities with the resources they need to help children thrive for the long term.
