Here's what you need to know about Paulette.

First, Paulette is a trailblazer. After finishing college in Washington state, she moved home to Idaho and became the youngest person ever elected to the Coeur d'Alene Tribal Council. She went on to join the Executive Board of the National Indian Gaming Association. When she wins this November, she will be the first woman senator Idaho has ever elected, and the first Native American woman in the Senate ever.

Next, she's a fighter. In 2014, Paulette ran to represent her home district in the Idaho House of Representatives -- and won, defeating an incumbent Republican in the process. She was an underdog every step of the way in that race, but Idahoans rallied behind her at the polls, and re-elected her in 2016. In 2018, she ran for governor -- the first Native American woman nominated for governor by a major party in US history.

Paulette is a pro-choice champion, a proud Idahoan and member of the Coeur d'Alene tribe, and a mom. And with EMILY's List behind her, she can help take back the Senate majority.
