This week, I launched TEXAS RELOADED – a joint campaign with Wesley Hunt, Genevieve Collins, Beth Van Duyne, Tony Gonzales, and August Pfluger to keep Texas red this November.
 
I also highlighted the success of Governor Abbott’s policies to defeat COVID-19 in Texas.
 
And I continued calling out the hypocrisy of Democrat leaders who spent the past three months embracing fascist mobs burning and looting our cities, only to turn around and condemn these actions after polls showed their re-election chances plummeting.

Governor Abbott: "I said last month that Texas wouldn’t have anymore lockdowns—despite demands from mayors & county judges insisting on lockdowns. Since my last orders in July, Covid numbers have declined—most importantly hospitalizations. I hope to provide updates next week about next steps."

WE ARE TEXAS STRONG
 
We are lucky to have Governor Abbott leading the fight against COVID-19 in Texas. His policies have created downward trends in all the key measures – while at the same time allowing our economy to safely reopen.
 
As of August 31st, statewide hospitalizations are at 4,203, the lowest it’s been since June 23. That is a decrease of 61% since the peak in July.
 
And daily new cases have drastically decreased by 78% from 10,791 at its peak in July to 2,374 reported.
 
We’ve run 5 million tests, driven down our positivity rate, and have 507k Texans who have recovered from COVID-19. We are Texas Strong.

America was built on the idea that you are free to earn and succeed. Free to be bold with that next great idea without the government getting in the way. Free to pursue your happiness.
 
This is the most prosperous nation on Earth precisely because of the risk-takers, rebels, entrepreneurs, and job creators among us. We should be rewarding – not punishing – them.

The protestors they’ve sided with are deliberately infringing on the rights of innocent bystanders and aggressively invading their personal space. These are tactics used by militant fascists – not peaceful protestors.

Now that polls are showing Democrat support with voters is plummeting - they are trying to backtrack and shift blame for the violence perpetrated by left-wing militants over to Republicans. And they tell you to vote for them so it will stop. It is the ultimate hostage crisis. They thought we would fall for it. But we won’t.
